This Friday, all vehicles will be required to park outside Nairobi Central Business District. All travellers will walk to the town center by foot.
The last time the ban was placed it caused congestions and inconviniences that costed the country’s economy. However, despite various complains by the road users, the county government of Nairobi under the leadership of Governer Mike Mbuvi Sonko is ready to place the ban again.
Consequently, several roads will be closed to prevent the vehicles from entering the city. Waiyaki highway and Moi Avenue are amongst the roads set to be closed this Friday.
So you are now informed and ready to walk. You might consider waking up earlier than usual that day.
